Hair short again, new specs (purple) … overweight! The glasses are a freebie from Vision Express as I am still waiting, over a month later, for the ones I ordered! I stopped taken the anti depression meds. I did feel some improvement with them but, I don’t much want to lose every morning and there was an issue they caused which I also didn’t much approve of. I have counselling soon anyway so let’s see what that does. OMG! I am going to Download in June …. Muse, Hollywood Undead and loads of other bands you’ve probably never heard of but, even if it is raining and cold, how awesome is that! My first ever festival … OK, so no camping and getting drunk but, maybe next year though, they’d have to go some to top Muse. Leonard Nimoy died (84), how sad. You gotta love it when you sit at the PC to do something and then it asks for more details but you can’t remember them so you check it out and then you sign on and everything works but …. you can’t remember what you sat at the PC to do in the first place!

As I am familiar with my house I really don’t need to turn all the lights on. This in mind I walked into the bathroom to fill a glass with water, it’s just a small glass. So, there I am in the dark filling up this glass cleverly using a finger as a guide to when it’s near the top, I like to use my brain me! Got back to my room to discover the glass was only half full. Thinking back, I had my damn finger under the tap! Anyway, I thought that might be amusing. Ticking all the boxes When it comes to dating and dating sites I have often believed, well, indeed, always believed that once I find someone who ticks all the boxes it is time to stop looking! So, why is it that the one who fits my requirements perfectly has to live the other side of the planet? Somehow I now need to give this a chance because, otherwise, I’ll always wonder, what if? Went to see a show Tuesday in Birmingham We had seats just near the front on the left as you look at the picture. Went along with Robin, Diana and, met Bill there who was lovely and got the tickets for us. Having seen the film and loved it I was nervous about the play, I thought it might have lost something from the film adaptation. A strange thought really seeing as when I watched the film I was convinced they could barely have changed anything from the stage play except expand on some of the sets. Thankfully there was nothing missing, it was all there and in full colour too! It would have been nice to stay for drinks afterwards but, it’s Birmingham, not exactly just around the corner. As it was we had to make a detour as they’d closed part of our route to roadworks so it took some time to get back. Even so, an evening out socialising over a shandy with others who turn up is quite appealing. I’ve managed to get through some quite long days even on this medication but am still wo

Well, the antidepressants seems to be doing something, annoyingly, the side effects are rather noticeable as well. Constantly tired, a sort of detached feeling and my hearing has become weird and I can’t quite describe that apart from just weird. There is another side effect which I am not writing about here and that’s a little annoying too. As for the medication change for the allergies, it’s made no difference at all, I am still stupidly itchy. I am not sure that the sprays are a good thing either as my nose seems to be getting clogged more and more causing headaches. To make one thing better I also changed my pillows, these new ones were £24 but are quite literally a dream. I sleep so well with them.

I finally got to see my GP, what fun and games that was! I made an appointment for my own GP to call me. Our surgery is weird because we do this using an automated system between midnight and 7am. She called me in the morning, concluded I needed to see someone and made an appointment, a double, for a locum as they are several doctors short of a surgery. The locum kept me waiting for half hour and then within the time of a single appointment she dismissed me suggesting I come back in two weeks if I didn’t feel better. I’d explained my background, how I don’t go for little things and that this has been as it is for many months but she just sent me away. So, I got a meeting with the practise manager and explained it all to her. She arranged for me to come back for the drop-in session 2 hours later where I had to ask for the deputy manager to ensure I got seen by my GP. Saw dep manager at 3pm and she asked me to wait. I was about to call downstairs to ask if I’d been forgotten when a te
