Avatar 3D Special Edition

I never got to see the 3D version on the first run so was really happy to go see it this time around. It really was worth the wait. To be honest, I didn’t notice that many new scenes, maybe that is because they were not ‘new’ at all but rather removed from the original edit but were always meant to be there and, as such, just ‘fit’

Someone tried to call me earlier, I couldn’t answer as I was driving but it just seemed odd they’d call out of the blue and not leave a message. I can’t imagine it was to say anything nice, it has not been that for quite some time now.

A reasonably quiet evening in tonight and, hopefully, a lay in tomorrow but then, I have said that before!

Budget Day

So, we have the ‘Let’s buy a whole host of gullible voters day’ with George Osborne. No doubt we’ll be told how employment is rising, how the deficit is falling, how we’re all so much better off now than we were (compared to what?). We’ll be told that there are still tough times ahead but that only a Conservative government can steer us through them. It will be pointed out how inflation remains low, how not raising duty on fuel has helped everyone as is seen by the current lower prices at the pumps (it’s going up again George). In short, I should listen to this budget later and decide to vote Conservative in May but, I won’t. Labour certainly did nothing to avoid the mess the country got in but they didn’t cause it. They made the mistake of trying to be too conservative, allowing high finance the freedom to cause a catastrophic cock up for which they took zero responsibility. Hmm, life has this way of bringing about changes

Past couple of weeks we have had Adam take over as Zoey’s PA and an excellent job he is making of it, better already than anyone else before him but then, I knew he would be and he was, after all, my first choice when I was first able to get a PA for her, he just wasn’t available! Nearly a week ago now our Danny turned up rather early! He’s doing fine though and a healthy 8lbs 7oz. I am not sure just which way round it is but suspect that each time I look at Sean I see Danny! Daisy is boob feeding and managing really well though, somehow I can’t help but wonder how the hell she’s managing to stay awake? I am a very lucky guy to now have 4 wonderful grandchildren and so need a picture of them all together, one day, when they are all that much older, I’d love to do a trip with them all to Disney, it’ll be totally magical to see their faces light up!
