Windows 10 will be the last version of the operating system to be numbered, says Microsoft executive.
I am wondering what their pricing policy will be in the future? They must have made a lot of money on the back of each new release so I can't believe they're prepared to let that go.
Could it be some form of subscription service? Pay each year of use, stop paying, stop using? Or perhaps there will be the free version which is way more basic and functional and the subscription service?
Have we really seen the end of paying for the Windows OS? I don't think so.
