March nearly over

My eye should be sorted by the end of May, my ears, I don’t know, if I am pushy enough they may be sorted by the end of April, that would be cool. When I say ‘sorted’ I don’t mean cured just new hearing aids which may actually work, who knows!

My photography ‘business’ got a new name, Wotalife Photographic. I had already placed it on the domain name and took me a while to realise it’d make quite a good name for a business, assuming that is ever what it becomes. I am really not sure where it is going as I don’t really know how to make the transition from amateur to pro whilst not totally buggering up the household finances. I can’t see it, as a money making venture, making a lot if any money for the foreseeable future and, if I head down that route, the benefits get screwed. I’d love to be off benefits but not if it means I can’t afford to pay the bills!

ALL holidays are fully booked and paid for now, am happily looking forward to them and just waiting for something to happen which screws it up. Still not heard from the department for works and pensions whether they are going to rob me of over £700 for their mistake!

Budget Day

So, we have the ‘Let’s buy a whole host of gullible voters day’ with George Osborne. No doubt we’ll be told how employment is rising, how the deficit is falling, how we’re all so much better off now than we were (compared to what?). We’ll be told that there are still tough times ahead but that only a Conservative government can steer us through them. It will be pointed out how inflation remains low, how not raising duty on fuel has helped everyone as is seen by the current lower prices at the pumps (it’s going up again George). In short, I should listen to this budget later and decide to vote Conservative in May but, I won’t. Labour certainly did nothing to avoid the mess the country got in but they didn’t cause it. They made the mistake of trying to be too conservative, allowing high finance the freedom to cause a catastrophic cock up for which they took zero responsibility. Oh dear

The good news is that it could possibly be Jermaine will be moved into his lovely new flat within 6 weeks. Matt is another story. His apology earlier was rather pathetic. He's still not really said sorry to either Daisy or Deej and, indeed, seems to think saying sorry to anyone is more important than being with his mates. He has a set of rules now, in writing and he's been told that if he deviates from it just once he best have somewhere else to live. We shall see. I don't hold out much hope but there is still a little inside of me, I need to believe there is good in him ... for now. Car - still not sold Looked at Nick's new place the other day. It's small but not so much as I feared it may be and could be made to look real nice with a little effort and thought. I know how I'd do it but it's up to Nick how he does it and I am looking forward to seeing the end result. Loads of work still to do at Robin's of course but at least he is up and running again o...
