Update on Daisy

Daisy is back. She is trying to find a way her and James can be together and I am supporting her as a long term plan. I have no idea yet what she's gonna come up with but I am sure she'll make the right decision

My long term plan is still that she and James shall one day be together as a loving family with the baby, careers, the normal sort of thing. I do know, for sure, that James has a lot of work to do before Christmas ... yes, I just mentioned the 'C' word as that will be the first big family occasion after the baby comes along.

Gonna go cook a really yummy dinner with Daisy now ... tomorrow we are off to see the new Star Trek movie

As an update on me ... they would not check my throat today, I need to see a GP, get them to write and go that way, stupid by 'rules'

Had my ears cleaned out, I can now hear in my right ear again. I also had some new moulds taken so my hearing aids should be fully repaired in a few weeks and, already, no whistling. :-)

Budget Day

So, we have the ‘Let’s buy a whole host of gullible voters day’ with George Osborne. No doubt we’ll be told how employment is rising, how the deficit is falling, how we’re all so much better off now than we were (compared to what?). We’ll be told that there are still tough times ahead but that only a Conservative government can steer us through them. It will be pointed out how inflation remains low, how not raising duty on fuel has helped everyone as is seen by the current lower prices at the pumps (it’s going up again George). In short, I should listen to this budget later and decide to vote Conservative in May but, I won’t. Labour certainly did nothing to avoid the mess the country got in but they didn’t cause it. They made the mistake of trying to be too conservative, allowing high finance the freedom to cause a catastrophic cock up for which they took zero responsibility. They made the mistake of allowing Gordon Brown to take the job of Prime Minister, one for which he is totally...

The soundtrack of my life

It's a Small World After All

In life we are said to meet one soul mate, that special person we can totally relate to, who loves us no matter what and we love them the same. There was a time, not so long ago when we only had the people within a few streets of us to find them from. Then there were trains and telephones and we might find them in the next town. Cars came along to make life easier, TV showed us a bigger view and they might now be anywhere in the country. Then we got air travel and the internet, we've a whole world to choose from. Our streets is now a planet so, why are you alone precisely? My soul mate is 6,668 miles away flying in a dead straight line, that's like, wow!
